When the pearls of nature were sown, on this soil an overflowing handful was gathered. The most beautiful contact between the earth and sea took place at the Montenegrin littoral.George Gordon Byron

Hi there
Lovely photos and I share your delight for Montenegro.
I see you have repeated the ‘famous’ Byron quote about Montenegro, but which book does it come from?
Do you have a source?
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Mark
Hello Mark!
Thanks for checking out our site. As far as the quotes source, I am not sure what book it came from. I found it while reading the following article: https://www.norwegian.com/magazine/features/2014/06/then-god-created-montenegro
I have actually read that Byron din’t even visit Montenegro, so it may be a mystery as to where the quote originally came from.
Take care!
